Drama about a French engineer working in the Swedish countryside, where he falls in love with a mysterious blonde, called "the Devil's Daughter" by the superstitious locals. 

At the 6th Berlin International Film Festival it won the Silver Bear award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution.
