Bursting Out is a 1978 live double album by the rock band Jethro Tull. The album was recorded during the band's European Heavy Horses Tour in May/June of that year.

Bursting Out deserves a place alongside other classic live performances from the 70's, e.g. Humble Pie's Rockin' the Fillmore, Deep Purple's Made in Japan, the Who's Live at Leeds, Cheap Trick's At Budokan, and many others. Recorded on their Heavy Horses tour, it's an excellent overview of their career up to that point, and it showcases their excellent musicianship and tight cohesion. Ian Anderson's typically British commentary and introductions add an element of humor to the mix as well.
