In 1979, award-winning photographer Martin H.M. Schreiber was a “Photographing the Nude”. One evening, a budding young future superstar happened to be his model: Madonna Ciccone. These photographs are the results of that session. They chronicle the woman before she became a legend. Madonna went on to pose for Martin in subsequent sessions, some appearing in Schreiber’s first book, “Bodyscapes”.
