"Company history
The company is located in the same building as the Ebeling Museum in Torshälla, 7 km outside Eskilstuna in Södermanland. There is the factory with its own manufacturing, sewing, packaging and a cozy shop premises with sales over the counter. A factory is run in Portugal that does all the casting and fired terracotta figures are then sent to Sweden for glazing. However, the original figure is always made by hand by Rolf Berg. In the beginning, Rolf worked alone in the company and did everything from designing the figures to manufacturing, glazing, firing and sales.

As the business grew, the company had to hire staff and expand the store. Today, Rolf Berg Keramik AB has 3-6 people employed full-time depending on the season. In 1998, Rolf sold the company to his children Iréne Berg and Magnus Berg, who had already been employed in the company for many years. Today, together with his wife Siv, Rolf runs Rolf Berg Design AB, where he only deals with the design of gnomes, glass, porcelain, textiles and other ceramic products. Rolf Berg's Christmas Santas are well known for their genuine Nordic appearance and for their good quality.
