Horace Pinker is a television repairman and a bloodthirsty monster. His favourite activity is murder. His only pleasure: watching his victims suffer. Perfect student Jonathan Parker sees Pinker murdering his family in his dreams. Suddenly the nightmare comes true and Parker quickly tries to guide his father, a policeman, to the killer. Pinker gets the electric chair. But it doesn't kill him. The 200,000 volts he has absorbed make him invincible and allow him to change his form at will. He continues his bloody campaign and kills Parker's girlfriend. Everyone believes the young man has gone crazy and committed the murder. Determined to get revenge, Jonathan successfully transforms himself into pure energy. This way he can transport himself into TV programs to try and beat Pinker on his own turf.
