Gorgeous girls and high-kicking action combine in So Close, a thrilling action film from director Corey Yuen (The Transporter). Shu Qi and Vicki Zhao Wei star as a pair of sexy sisters who moonlight as high-tech assassins for those willing to pay their price. With the use of a high-tech satellite surveillance system, the girls are able to plan their hits perfectly and professionally. But that doesn't dissuade tough cop Hung (Karen Mok), who makes taking down the girls her top job. Hung has competition from evil bad guy Mr. Chow (Deric Wan), who chooses to hire then betray the two girls. With so many foes, will the sisters be able to beat the odds and avenge the murder of their parent? And what of Hung's growing fascination with her quarry?
Co-starring Korean star Song Seung Hun, So Close is over-the-top Hong Kong Cinema action at its finest. Director Corey Yuen gets ferocious action performances from his trio of comely stars, who convincingly battle the bad guys AND look great doing it.
