Alfonso Brescian viimeiseksi tieteiselokuvaksi jäi Walerian Borowczykin La Bêtea varioiva La bestia nello spazio (1980). La Bête (The Beast, 1975) on eroottisuuteen taipuva vertauskuvallinen taidekauhufantasia, joka muistetaan myös siitä, että sitä tähdittää suomalainen Sirpa Lane. Lane teki elokuvadebyyttinsä vuotta aiemmin Roger Vadimin La jeune fille assassinée -leffassa, jonka roolisuorituksesta häntä hehkutettiin uutena Brigitte Bardot’na.
